who We Are
My name is Kenneth Troyer. Me and my wife Mary Ann are the owners of North Fork Kennel. We live on a 4-acre homestead with 3 young children. We both grew up raising animals. My family raised hunting dogs at home and she grew up on a dairy farm.
We got started breeding German Shepherds in 2018 by a long-time breeder that was ready to downsize. He set us up with a proven female that had an excellent temperament for a family dog. She was very calm and great with the kids and didn’t have the extreme high energy/drive that are usually found in east German Shepherds. By selectively breeding we are now raising puppies in the next generation that have the same qualities she has.
We follow strict deworming and vaccination protocols to ensure that our puppies get the healthy start they deserve. They have lots of room to roam and are well socialized by us and our children.
